A Travellerspoint blog

We just couldn't leave...

more diving in Honduras!

sunny 30 °C

We were supposed to leave Utila in Honduras after finishing our Open Water PADI course, but after a lot of back and forth we decided to stay and do our Advanced Diving course.

Sadly we didn't see any Whale Sharks (we bet they'll arrive when we leave tomorrow...) but we saw lots of other cool stuff like sting rays, eagle rays, turtles and crazy coloured fish. Here are some photos so you can wish you were here:

Squirrel fish! The heroin addicts of the sea.

Baby Sting ray!

And this is Alton's Dive Center. Recommending it.

And to make you just a bit more jealous. Today we went swimming with a pod of wild spinner dolphins.

One negative thing about diving: We are destroyed. Went to bed at 22 yesterday, and writing this blog takes A LOT of effort.
Hope you enjoyed the pictures,

x Linn & Ross

fantastic photographs. So where are you heading once you get your strength back???

Joda, skulle gjerne vært der selv om det ble satt ny mars-rekord m 20 grader + i Grimstad i dag. Søndag var jeg på nydelig påskeskitur i Nordmarka, men sneen smelter fort. God tur videre sørover.

Hi Guys,
Trip looks amazing. Super photos. Hope you are both keeping OK. Lots of people here asking after you and hoping all is well.
The weather here is great at the moment: warm, dry and hardly any wind. Had a walk yesterday on our own white sandy beach!!!
Thinking of you guys. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. Enjoy this wonderful time.
