Diving on Utila

That's about all we did in Honduras.

sunny 30 °C

We decided to go to Copan Ruinas in Honduras because everyone said the ruins were really nice.
Well, they're actually just some more old stones with carvings put in nice shapes.

We went to see, and climb, them with a dutch girl.

We're still glad we went to Copan Ruinas, though, because there's a really cool bird sanctuary there!
Ross found lots of bugs there too, and I made friends with all of them.

Of course, the birds there were really cool. Like this Tucan:

...these weaver birds:

...and these Macaws. They ate our shirts, but that's OK. I've never heard anyone else say the hole in their shirt is from a Macaw before. It must mean we're cool now. I mean - cooler than we were before the hole-in-shirt-by-macaw incident.

In Copan Ruinas we also went up to a view point. The view was terrible, but we found some other cool stuff.
This castle:

...and this stick-your-head-through-the-hole-and-you-become-a-ruin-carving thing.

I know a lot of you have missed us because we haven't written a blog for a while. Well, we've had better things to do: Taking our Open Water PADI license on Utila. Woop! We saw lots of cool fish, an eagle ray and a turtle cruising by. AWESOME. No whale sharks though. Boo. Our instructor was danish - everyone here is Scandinavian. I feel like I'm home. Just without snow. That's the only difference.
How jealous are you?! Very.

Our class had 4 students (Germany, Portugal, Scotland & Norway) and two instructors (Denmark & Canada):

This was nice. Now we're heading for Honduras.
Thank you for watching!

Linn your dredlocks (spelling?) look great under that water, like the many legs of an octopus!

We have been cool, since.... the incident... :P Seems like you're having an awesome time though. I am still envious, think you should've brought me with you!
